Yoda, Clone Wars Style

For Halloween this year, we debuted a bunch of new animated style clone troopers. I felt like we needed Yoda to lead us into battle.

So, some pink foam, PVC pipe and scrap fabric later, here we are!

The Process

He was built fast... 5 days total. The head was carved out of insulation foam, coated in latex caulking, then painted with acrylic craft paint.

The body was 1.5" PVC pipe and some leftover foam from Jabba, and the clothes were made from assorted scrap fabric in our attic. The saber is a Master Replicas FX Yoda with the electronics taken out.

The whole thing is mounted to a 24" x 24" square of plywood. 2 PVC endcaps were bolted to the board, then the skeleton was cemented into place.
