New England Clone Build

This is a project of a scope never before attempted in our New England clubs. We're building clones. Lots of clones. 23 total, myself excluded.

We pooled our money for plastic, and are working our butts off to make the armor. We're all pitching in to get this done FAST. We want as many clones as possible for the Halloween parade at the end of October.

This page will document the project from start to finish.

It all starts with the plastic

That is what a LOT of plastic looks like. That's roughly 600 squares of the stuff, ready to become clone troopers.

Day One

What a day! One garrison member got out early and prepped the shop... cleaned it up, cleared work space, and got us ready. Three more of us hit the shop at around 8:30pm. We made some quick modifications to the vac table to improve efficiency, then went in at full force.

4 hours later we had made three full trunks: chest and back, belly and kidney, cod and butt, and the belt. 21 pieces of 0.125 HIPS turned to armor.
