Helmet

The Mandalorian helmet worn by Pre Vizsla and the Deathwatch was influenced by the Holiday Special Boba Fett. The face is elongated, with much taller cheeks than Boba or Jango Fett. It is lacking a rangefinder, and has flat, symmetrical ear caps. The keyslot detail area at the rear of the helmet is slightly wider, and the slots are simple horizontal indents.

Vizsla's helmet has a dark grey dome and lower cheeks, silver visor area, blue upper cheeks and rear. The keyslot area of the helmet is dark grey.

On the forehead is a cream colored trident.

The grey dome color spills over into the silver visor trim area. This is consistent across various scenes / renders.

In the concept art the helmet is drawn with a cream stripe at the top of the keyslots. This does not appear to be in the final render for the show.

Torso Armor and Vest

The body armor is similar in style to Jango Fett, but as with all of the Clone Wars, it is stylized. The chest plates are flatter and have larger "tabs" on the outside corners. 2 slots appear on the left breast, as is seen on the Fetts.

The shoulder plates are a unique shape.

The backplate is much like Jango's, but has a raised / flat section at the top, almost like a shelf at the upper back. In the show, no Mandalorian is shown without a jetpack, so the shape / style can only be based on the concept art.

The vest is similar to Jango's in design, but short like Boba's.

In some renders Vizsla appears to have very dark armor. In others it looks almost silver. The Hasbro figure shows him in near black, while Gentle Giant presents the silver look.

I was lucky enough to pose the questions directly to lead character designer Kilian Plunkett. He had this to say on the colors:

Visla’s armour is actually a dark gunmetal colour. So it’s metallic and slightly reflective but it’s a dark, very, very slightly indigo, grey. His flightsuit is a very dark green gray. Only his boots and the leather ‘vest’ that his breastplate sits on are actually black. The values are close to each other, anything that’s not fully black is about 70-75% black, the blue sections should pop quite a bit from the rest of the outfit.

Vizsla's collar is blue with a grey stripe in the center. The chest slots are red on top, blue at the bottom. The chest diamond is blue with a raised center detail in grey. The backplate has blue at the top to match the collar, with the stripe from the front carrying over to the back.

Vizsla's left shoulder bears a cream and red symbol as shown below.

Bracers / Gauntlets and Handplates

TCW Mandalorian gauntlets are greatly simplified from the Boba/Jango style, as shown below. They all wear tombstone shaped handplates.

Vizsla's right gauntlet has a red symbol as shown below. They are otherwise the same color as the armor.

Leg Armor

The thigh armor wraps around the outside of the thigh, from about center front to center back. A squared off holster is integrated into each piece. There is no visible attachment system.

The knees are similar to Jango's, but flat on the sides, as shown below.

The greaves are also similar to Jango's, but more squared off at the top and symmetrical.

Viszla's thigh armor has a blue stripe down the side, just in front of the holster. The line extends up onto the holster fronts.

Vizsla's knees are blue from the edge of the center panel all the way back to the points at the rear.

The greaves have blue stripes running along the edge of the center panel and bending out near the top.

The boot armor is painted as shown in the photos.

Jetpack

The jetpack bears similarities to both Jango's arena pack and Boba's classic, but is different than both.

The rocket is smaller, the pack is much flatter overall, and there is a ridge facing the backplate of the wearer.

Vizsla's paint is the same as the others. The pack is a 2 tone overall... a lighter and a darker grey. Given the low detail rendering it's hard to say if it was intended to be matte or metallic. I went with the same gunmetal color as the armor for the dark parts and a low shine metallic aluminum for the lighter.

The red rings around the side cones are the only colored areas,

This photo has been contrast-enhanced to better show the patterns.

Guns

All of the guns in the show are the same. Vizsla's are not painted / finished any differently.

Saber

Vizsla carries a stolen Jedi relic... a darksaber.

The hilt is typically shown sticking out from between his jetpack and back plate, on the right side.

Flight Suit / Neck Seal

The Mandalorians wear the standard double sleeved jumpsuits, as seen on Boba and Jango. Theirs have no pockets.

The neck seal is higher in the back than the front, and flares out slightly at the top.

Vizsla's suit is a dark grey with blue stripes down the legs and around the top and bottom of the knee.
